Heat the oil over high heat in a deep skillet or deep fryer
until the oil is heated to around 400 degrees. Add in half of
the wings, stirring and shaking occasionally, and cook until
they are golden and crisp. When done, remove them and
place them on a paper towel to drain the grease. Cook the
remaining wings the same way. Melt the butter over medium
heat in a heavy saucepan, add the hot sauce and the other
ingredients, and stir. Bring to slow simmer and remove from
the fl ame.
Place chicken in a bowl with lid, and pour the sauce over
the chicken and shake very lightly. Cover the chicken for a
few moments and serve.
Th is meal is great served with celery or carrots, and ranch
or bleu cheese dressing.
